Thank you for recommending Jack Tar Village to us for our vacation. The resort was so more than we expected being on somewhat of a limited budget. There were two large pools, one of which the staff was always trying to round up people for a game of pool volleyball and the other just for relaxing. Never a dull moment. The food was also great! What really made our trip was the staff. A couple nights into our stay the staff had either nicknamed us "virgin mon" (because we always had to say we wanted our drinks almost virgin) or knew us by name.

The resort was located within walking distance of a night club/restaurant called Margarita Vile and the resort also offered free bus rides to the club at night. We choose to go to Margarita Ville during the day and slide down it's water slide into the ocean and play on the two trampolines on the ocean- all for free! Anyhow Penny, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for your great service and recommendation.

Thank you so much for helping us plan our trip to Montego Bay. We had such an amazing time.

Jack Tar was great. The service exceeded our expectations, the people are so friendly. It was nice not to have to worry about where we were going to have our next meal. I am such a picky eater but the selection was great!

The activities group was so much fun, they got us involved in everything from beach and pool volleyball to snorkeling off the beach. Jason's favorite activity was sailing but I would have to say mine was the beach side massage. We were entertained nightly, it has been awhile since I laughed so hard. If we would have known how many things there were to see and do we probably would have stayed two weeks instead of one. We did squeeze in a lot though the day we were to leave Jason got in 18 holes of golf while I took advantage of the private tennis lessons. This vacation was just what we needed, it was a perfect balance between relaxation and activity.
