Sandals Dunns River

We would like to thank Dunn’s River for the most incredible experience
we have ever experienced. We celebrated our 15th weeding anniversary and
never expected the service or the resort to be so amazing. The extras
that we received were far beyond perfect and special. They went above
and beyond to make our trip romantic and a once in a life time vacation.
They even brought us up an anniversary cake and had balloons waiting in
our room and decorated our bed with flower petals. This was truly the
best vacation we have ever had and will only do Sandals trips from here
on out.
The Concierge service was amazing Florence and the girls really went all
out for us and we feel truly blessed to have been able to stay at this
fantastic resort. The red lane spa experience was a gift from heaven
Michele and her partner were so unbelievable. They are truly an asset
for your resort and the best in their field. We will defiantly be
returning to a Sandals with in the next year. Thank you to all the staff
for making this a truly amazing anniversary for us.

Hi Penny,
Thanks again for helping us arrange our trip to Jamaica. We had a great
time as always. Here is a brief trip report.
We were originally booked for Whitehouse December 3rd for 7 nights. Like
many, our plans changed due to the closure. We were fortunate to have
Penny notify us immediately and secure a Tuscan Ocean view 1 Bedroom
Suite at the Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio in Ocho Rios.
The room was beautiful. It had a large living/dining room with wet bar
and porch. The bedroom with bath had double sinks, small walk in shower,
soaking tub and second porch. Plenty of room and a nice view of the
pool, falls and ocean even from floor 2.
The resort was clean and the service was excellent.
The gardens are fun to wander in and Lebert, one of the grounds care
takers, gave a great tour.
There was plenty of shade on the beach and we never felt crowded.
The snorkeling was very good and just a short boat ride to the reef.
The FOOD……..GREAT. I’m dreaming of the jerk chicken as I type.
All in all we enjoyed the resort and don’t regret the change. Aside from
the fact that Sandals is not renewing the lease the only reasons we
would not return would be the combined loudness of the playmakers and
the pool falls and the lack of not being able to take a nice long walk.

Penny,
My husband and I want to thank you for making the
arrangements for the trip we recently took to Sandal’s Dunn’s River for
my husband’s 40th b-day (picture with Mr. Grant). We are not sure if you
had anything to do with it, but our 2 room upgrade to a one bedroom
suite was just that…sweet! We were treated royally. The room was
fantastic, but again what made it all was the customer service. Again
this resort is above average…we got our gold sandals and wore them
proudly. My husband thanked Mr. Grant on a couple of different
occasions…this was resort was our first Sandal’s 14 years ago.. and now
after 3 visits, our favorite due to the people.
We look forward to booking with you in the future. I
also gave 2 different couples your website …good news travels fast!

Hi Penny,
I just wanted to let you know that Scott and I had a
wonderful time at the Dunn's River Sandals. The resort was so pretty and
we were treated like royalty. Our room was perfect and we couldn't have
asked for a better view. One our next Sandal's trip we are definitely
going with the concierge service. We could not have been more happy with
them. We did a lot of excursions off the resort and we also kept very
busy on the resort. My favorite excursion that we did was swimming with
the dolphins. Scott's favorite excursion was the zip line through the
rain forest. We also both loved climbing the Dunn's River Falls. The
falls are so pretty and so much fun to climb up!! At the resort we ate
(way too much!!), danced, played pool and beach games and met a ton of
great couples including one couple from Boise, Idaho!! Here are some of
our pictures from our honeymoon and we can not wait to go to another
Sandal's Resort.

Hi Penny,
It was very nice at Dunns River. We went to Ocho Rios one night for
dinner. Another time for a ship wreck dive… which was so cool. Our
dive instructor was excellent from Dunns River… we gave him rave
reviews. We have lots of cool underwater pictures (of the ship wreck),
and we have pictures of the Dunns River Falls, sailing, parasailing,
etc. As soon as I scan them in I’ll send them your way!
Everyone was so nice at the resort… I just can’t get over how happy
they always are! The view from our room was good with the exception of
the construction of a new resort next to Sandals. But, we didn’t mind…
we had full stocked bar the whole time… I can’t imagine not having
that… it was so nice to have bottled water and
sodas/beer/wine/champagne anytime you wanted it. Plus, the room
service for breakfast in the morning was nice too. We met two great
couples there and hung out with them most of the time and they didn’t
have the 24 concierge, stocked bar, etc… so I think we got the better
deal!
Thanks again for booking a great trip. I had to drag Eric to the
airport - he didn’t want to leave Jamaica!!!!! We’ll have to go back
and visit Negril next time!
