Penny,
This was out 10 year anniversary trip to Sandals Halcyon Beach in St.
Lucia. We have been back a little over a week now and have resumed our
daily rituals. We can't believe our trip is over after 2 years of
waiting. We had an AMAZING time and would do it again in a second. We
loved everything about the Halcyon Sandals and are so glad we chose to
stay there. The room was perfect! It was private, had it's own little
patio surrounded by flowers, close to everything and the concierge,
Melissa and O'Neill, made all of our planning a snap. We got to visit
the Sandals Regency only 15 min. away and enjoy dinner at Kimono's, the
Japanese Steak House, on a bluff overlooking the sea and a few rounds of
golf at their beautiful 9 hole course. We also visited the St. Lucian
Grande, again only 15 min the other direction, and enjoyed dinner at
Barefoot by the Sea. All of our meals were excellent and we were so glad
they were all included because we did indulge in the finest dinners from
seafood to steaks.
Although we loved all three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, we fell in
love with the Halcyon. It was small enough that the everyone learned and
called you by name and our concierge friends made all of our planning so
easy. They scheduled our snorkeling, scuba diving, day trips and
reservations for dinner and tee times. All of this would have been
possible on our own, but they went out of their way to ask what the
could do for us and made it all happen in a snap. We would go again in a
second and stay at the Halcyon in the exact same room. Everything was
perfect.
